Serious First Lesson

Our Serious First Lesson is all about feeling the effects of the controls in the plane (aileron, rudder, trim etc).
The experience includes:

  • 15 Min pre-flight briefing
  • Temporary membership of Recreational Aviation Australia
  • 60 minute flying lesson (where you take the controls under supervision)
  • Time afterwards to talk about your path to becoming a pilot
  • This Flight can be counted towards your recreational pilot licence
  • If you love flying, you can enrol to do two more flights at this low $330 price

About your Flight

Take a flying lesson over the spectacular Sunshine Coast. You will be flying in a modern light sport Sling aircraft.

Session Length

  • 15 minute Effects of Controls preflight briefing video
  • 60 minute flight dureing which you will learn about the Effects of the Controls (ailerons, rudders etc)
  • Voucher is valid for 1 person, while flying it will just be you and your instructor in the plane.

Weather

  • In poor weather conditions we will reschedule the flight.

Dress Code

  • Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses and a baseball cap are recommended

Guidelines

  • Max weight is 110kg. People with serious medical conditions and pregnant women can’t participate in this experience. Participants must be over 11 years of age.
  • All Gift Certificates can be transferred to another person but are not refundable
