GoFly location

At just 100km north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast is home to breathtaking beaches, multi-coloured sand dunes, mangrove forests, glistening waterways, walking trails and hinterland escapes.  It’s the perfect place for weddings, arts, sports and music events, and especially good for flying over (much better than endless suburbs, roads, and concrete).  Back on the ground there are boutique shops, fine dining, cooking schools, casual eating places, theme parks, aqua fun parks, aquariums, boat cruises, dive experiences, and much more. You can see more attractions on the official Visit Sunshine Coast website.

GoFly is located at the end of the street at 20 Pathfinder Drive, Caloundra Airport. We are located just past the Queensland Air Museum and opposite the Australian Air Force Cadets building. Bus route 605 also runs past the Caloundra Airport. If you are travelling north from Brisbane, take the Bruce Highway (M1) and take exit 188 to Caloundra and then continue on Caloundra Road which will take you up over a hill and down the other side. You’ll go past the BP Service Station & Hungry Jacks on your left (where our instructors tend to hang out when they’re not flying). Turn right at that roundabout and follow the brown street signs to ‘Air Museum’. At the T-intersection, turn right into Pathfinder Drive and drive right past all our competitors and don’t stop until you reach our office. There’s plenty of parking on the street. At our office we have a waiting area, magazines and TV for your friends and family, so why not bring them with you and make a day of it by having a meal or coffee in Caloundra after your lesson and a swim at the beach!

Our air-conditioned office has a briefing room, simulator room and waiting room, as well as access to toilets. During 2019 we will extend our premises again to offer separate quiet areas for CPL students. Students can take advantage of our free wi-fi and tea and coffee in the air-conditioned kitchen which is complete with a fridge and microwave.

We have access to two runways so you never have to fly in a crosswind – unless you really want to!
