I’ve always had a passion for aviation for as long as I can remember. From reading about aircraft as a kid, to taking my first flying lesson as a teenager, aviation has always drawn me in. After quite a long pause where I’ve spent (and continue to work) almost 20 years as a paramedic and emergency, disaster and public sector management roles, I found my way back behind the controls of a plane. I’m fortunate I now get to combine roles within aviation and paramedicine and enjoy the rewards they both bring to me and the people I encounter.
Outside of flying, I love travelling and snowboarding with Japan being a favourite for both – you’ll usually find me in the Japanese back country.
