My love for aviation goes back to when I was a 6 year old. I was lucky to have a best friend whose dad was a pilot. He took us kids flying all the time. When I wasn’t flying, I was hooked up to Flight Simulator 95!

I live near the Caloundra Airport and starting flying again when my wife bought me a trial flight with GoFly for my birthday in 2019.

Aviation

After I finished my RPC and Navigation courses, I got into aerobatics as I’ve always loved the adrenaline sports, dirt bikes and fast cars. I was invited to join the team to compete in the Qld state titles in aerobatics. I came 3rd and was over the moon. My training in aerobatics and spin recovery has made me such a better pilot!! I recently obtained my RAA Instructor Rating. I wanted to share my love for flying with students while teaching them to be safe and being the best pilots they can be.
Later on I want to study for my commercial licence and I’ll also be training very hard to take the trophy at the 2021 Aerobatic Nationals.

When I'm not instructing, I'm still flying..

Apart from my love for flying upside down, the best thing I love about flying is taking friends and family up and seeing their faces glow with excitement from experiencing a different perspective on life!
